5150-B - BROWN Attach to a corner of the window you want to protect with supplied self-adhesive tape. Its clean design makes the detector one of the most low profile sensors in the industry. Tuned to vibrations caused by breaking glass. When it detects the glass breaking, the sensor opens its contact. Advanced piezo transducer technology powers the sensor, so no power is needed from the loop. Instead, the piezo generates its own electricity when it bends as the glass breaks. You can wire multiple units in series to one zone terminal on a hardwired alarm system. To keep troubleshooting to a manageable level, keep the number of sensors on one zone to five or less. On wireless alarm system, connect one or two Glass Break Sensors to the terminals on the transmitter module. Can be used with plate, wired, tempered, and laminated glass. Specifications: Normal Resistance 14 ohms (24 ohms maximum) Maximum loop rating 10 V DC, 15 mA . Alarm (open) Resistance 1 MegOhm minimum Loop configuration Closed loop Output Open 1 to 10 seconds on alarm Range 10' (3 m)* Mounting location Corner mounted on glass Mounting method High bonding acrylic tape Dimensions 1.25" x 1.25" x .37" Operating temperatures 0°F to 120°F (-18°C to +50C)
