Essential InfoThe Buffalo Electronics Home Theater IR Kit includes everything you need to remotely control audio video (A/V) components that are hidden in your equipment closet or in an entertainment cabinet. IR-350 - Round Micro IR Sensor - Unlike standard flat-panel infrared repeaters, these units increase the installation options by providing a clean and unobtrusive look.
- The Repeaters can install in any ½-inch opening, and extends about ½-inch from the wall after installation. Typical mounting locations include equipment cabinets, ceilings, walls, inside speakers and other low-profile locations. The round micro sensor can be installed in any standard electrical box or P-ring.
- These Tube-Style Infrared Repeaters also features voltage regulation, allowing for consistent sensitivity and immunity from power supply noise. Furthermore, an LED confirms when an infrared signal is received.
- Typical range is 40 ft. with acceptance angle of 130 degrees. Extensive shielding and special ground plane PCB design creates robust immunity to electrical noise.
DV9-500 - 9-Volt DC 500ma Power Supply- This power supply is for use with Buffalo Electronics' 4 Emitter Connecting Block.
IR-100 - Four Emitter Infrared Connecting Block - The Four Emitter Infrared Connecting Block is a device that collects signals from the Round Micro IR Sensor, processes them and sends the signals to your audio/video equipment via an infrared emitter. With its robust construction and comprehensive noise shielding, the Four Emitter Infrared Connecting Block is designed to provide you with a highly-reliable and accurate audio/video control system.
You can configure the Infrared Connecting Block using multiple options, depending on - the size and scope of your audio/video system. If multiple connecting blocks will be used, the system allows for two different expansion options: one for situations where only additional flashers are required, and another for scenarios where you might need additional flashers and repeaters. You can link up to 15 infrared repeaters to the Connecting Block.
- The Infrared Connecting Block also features LED flashers, making installation a snap. If the system is installed correctly, the LED flashers will light up when IR signals are sensed. The Infrared Connecting Block features four voltage-regulated flasher output jacks, allowing each Connecting Block to control up to four audio/video devices. To ensure proper installation, the unit must be installed near the audio/video equipment and near a 115-VAC outlet.
IR-E1 - Mini Stick-On IR Emitter- This tiny emitter has a self-adhesive pad that allows it to be stuck directly to the IR sensor window of your audio/video equipment. This configuration gives you the highest level of signal transmission accuracy. Continues to allow external IR signal through (so that you can still use your remote by directly pointing it at your audio/visual component).
- The mini stick-on emitter includes a 6 foot cable between the emitter head and the mini-plug.
