The XPPF Plug In Noise Filter isolates electrical appliances, such as big screen TVs, that generate noise pollution on the power line. These noisy devices will render part or all of your X10 system inoperable either intermittently or all the time. One way to find the offending device is to unplug suspected devices one at a time until you find the device causing the problem. Then plug the offending device into the filter and plug the filter into the AC outlet. This filter can handle devices rated up to 5 amps.
