This plug-in module is designed to identify and transmit the status of low voltage inputs and contact closures, and to control the operation of low-power actuators based on digital commands received on the powerline. The module communicates using the highly-reliable Universal Powerline Bus (UPB) technology. The SAUMI32W is useful in detecting events such as a ringing telephone or doorbell, or for the monitoring alarm switches on doors and windows, or for sensing audio signals from a sound system. Installation is simple: the module is plugged into a standard 120VAC electrical outlet and the devices are wired into a terminal block on the bottom of the module. The ouputs deliver on/off control for low-power electrical devices such as door strikes, drapery controls, central vacuum controls, electric fireplace igniters, garage door openers, sprinkler valves, etc. A non-controlled 120VAC outlet is also provided on the face of the module. Connected devices can be operated manually using a multi-button controller, or automatically via PC or home automation controller. Power requirements: 120VAC 60 Hz, 83mA. Inputs: ---#1 4-5V AC/DC sense or phoneline ring (detect) ---#2 4-5V AC/DC sense or contact closure ---#3 4-5V AC/DC sense, 200mA sense, or contact closure, or line level audio. Outputs: 2 Isolated solid state with contacts rated 400 mA @ 60V AC/DC. I/O termination: Screwless, #22 to #14 AWG solid wire. "Always ON" outlet rated 120VAC 15A. Operating Temperature 30-120 deg F(0-50 deg C). Dimensions:3.4"H x 2.6"W x 1.5" D.
