This Decora style Inductive Wall Switch Dimmer Module replaces an existing standard single pole wall switch. For automation of ceiling fans and other inductive loads, as well as indoor/outdoor lights including front porch, patio, hallway, and stairway lights. Dimmable when using an X-10 controller with dimming features or by using the push button. When connected to a ceiling fan or other motor, dim/bright commands slow down and speed up the motor. The push button also allows you to manually turn the controlled device on or off. Will respond to "All Lights On" commands from X-10 controllers. This device requires a hot and neutral wire for correct operation. Use the XPSS 3 Way Slave Module with this device for three or four way operation. Rated at 120VAC, 500 watts. Includes both white and ivory colored switch plates. Uses standard Decora trim plates (not included).
